You worked super hard at your first practice. You were able to warm up right next to your buddy Peyton from daycare and that put a smile on your face. At the very end.....the coaches had all of you sit in a circle and go over some of the rules of wrestling and you just spouted out, "when do we get to wrestle anyways?!"

Deer Hunting
We had a blast driving around the country roads trying to spot deer. Kasen got to join Grandpa Mike, Uncle John, and dad on the big walk thru the woods while mom stayed in the truck with Kage and Krew. The twins got pretty excited when they heard the guns firing!
It was neat to see the different responses in all 3 of you. Kasen and Kage wanted to touch the deer and get as close as they could. Krew, on the other hand, clung to dad and cried anytime he got close to the deer!

Pumpkin Carving
The boys didn't really like cleaning out the "goo" of the pumpkin but did have fun painting the stems green.
Krew actually didn't want to help paint. He just played in the garage while Kasen and Krew did the pumpkin stuff.
This is actually the 2nd picture I took of Kam because he was scowling on the first one. I told him that he better smile just in case I put this picture on our blog!

Mommy's getaway!
I was able to attend my 1st scrapbook retreat with a bunch of fabulous ladies at a cabin outside of Detroit Lakes called Pens and Needles. It truly was the best little getaway a gal could ask for. I was able to enjoy fabulous food without having to do all the cooking/cleaning, get a massage, sit in a hot tub, visit without the interruption of my kiddos, and feel like I actually got something accomplished (34 digital pages completed - Yeah!!) I can hardly wait to go next year. Thanks to all the ladies in the picture above for such a memorable and fun time! |
Yup.......something exciting happened while I was gone for the weekend. Kage got into the Vaseline and covered the mirror and himself in it! Thank goodness Kam was able to capture the moment so that I can scrapbook this picture soon!
By the way....some of you might be wondering why an almost 2 year old is still sucking on a pacifier! I really do have good intentions to take it away soon.

Labor Day Weekend
Kasen asked me if he could "fix" the computer keyboard? They get to fix real appliances at daycare, and I finally caved and found something he could destroy!
I think Kage is going to be a "lefty", just like his Grandpa Larry. He is holding his screwdriver in his left hand and always throws and eats with his left hand. I guess we will have to wait and see if my prediction is accurate.

Krew spent the morning coloring while the other two "fixed" the computer. I think he spent 30 minutes coloring without a fuss. I couldn't believe that I was able to do laundry and unload the dishwasher without any interruptions!

August pics!
hair.
We have the BEST neighbors ever. This is our neighbor girl Jess and she has helped babysit this summer and the boys just adore her.
The annual Muscha family reunion at the lakes. Karoake Fun! The kids had a blast singing anything from the ABC song by the Jackson family to Fishin in the Dark to Jesus Loves me.

Kage and Krew
Since all of my recent posts have been about Kasen, I figured it was time to post some pics of the twins! It is hard to believe that they will be 2 years old in less than 2 months. I am so glad I captured this moment because this does not happen often. Right now, they are constantly battling over toys and often found hitting each other. Krew actually is our biter, so he often leaves bite marks on Kage. We did try biting him back, but that actually made the problem worse! Any suggestions?!!
So, this is our little Krew. We call him Krewzer the Bruiser! He loves to put on everyone's shoes in the house and walk around in them. As you can see, he likes to put on our clothing. At least he gets the clothing out of our drawers and not a dirty laundry basket!!
This is Krew wrestling our dog Brickley. Now you can see why we might call him Krewzer the Bruiser!
